Hi, I’m Nick. Most recently, I served as the beat reporter for Charger Report, the online home of Sports Illustrated‘s coverage of the Los Angeles Chargers. Charger Report is where you’ll find my most recent reporting and media appearances.
Prior to joining the Chargers beat, I chronicled the Los Angeles Rams’ 2021 Super Bowl run for Sports Illustrated.
As you’ll discover on this site, I’ve also written, edited and made radio appearances for a wide range of other media outlets, including Sports Illustrated’s All49ers, Pro Football Network, Raider Nation Radio, Silver and Black Today, FanSided, The Daily Titan and Titan Radio. I’ve covered professional and college sports, writing game reports, news stories, opinion pieces and in-depth features. I’ve also appeared as a panelist on a variety of sports-talk radio shows and podcasts.
I’m a proud communications graduate from California State University Fullerton, where I served as a staff writer for the university’s award-winning newspaper, The Daily Titan. My primary role was covering CSUF’s decorated baseball program. I also hosted a weekly radio show for the university’s radio station, Titan Radio, where I discussed national NFL news. While at CSUF, I was a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, CSU Fullerton Chapter.
My team and I at The Daily Titan won three awards during my final year at CSUF, including first place in the California College Media Awards for Best Newspaper, second place in the Associated Collegiate Press Awards for Newspaper (More than Weekly) and second place in the California News Publisher Association Awards for General Excellence.
